Birgit Vestesen’s inspiration for painting comes from within, where ideas and the painting process is a part of her inner self. Through the painting process she let go of the controlling elements allowing a more spiritual side take over. Layer upon layer is applied and space is created – which again uncovers deeper layers. She uses her intuition and the power releasing energies which are created when colors and contrast meet each other. The paintings are multilayered reflecting the human mind, body and soul, allowing the paintings to set forth your thought process and reflections upon life.
