Born 8-11-1901 (1973)– Christianshavn – Copenhagen.
Son of Parliament Member Vilh. Nygaard and Ms. Ellemine Nygaard (born Klingenberg).
Exhibited in many Danish Cities as well as Internationally. Major Special Exhibition at Charlottenborg (Copenhagen) with Preminister Stauning as Protector. The well known Art Specialist and Painter, O.V. Borch noted at this exhibition Th Nygaard’s wonderful paintings of Major Danish Cities.
Study Trips: Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany and on many occasions Italy.
Th Nygaard is best known as an interpreter of old city motifs - signed Th Nygaard.
